Project description:
Development of an afternoon tuition in the Roma-ghetto of Bocsa, Romania.
Phase 1:
Four students of BAKIP Hartberg with teacher Hans Trsek
went to Bocsa from 20. to 23. of November to start the program with our partners from Liceul Teoretic "Tata Oancea".
About 40 kids of the primary school of Bocsa-Magura take part in the afternoon tuition in two groups four times a week from Monday to Tuesday.
Phase 2:
The afternoon tuition runs only with one group with the third grade pupils from 4 to 6 pm. The curriculum from Hartberg is translated and our "theachers" from Bocsa use it in class. Our sponsors gave us a lot of different materials for learning,drawing and playing.So we could send about 1.5oo kilos of material to Bosca with the truck of Humanitas Hartberg. Phase 3:
We are waiting for our partners of Liceul Teoretic. They have to come to the BAKIP to do a course of afternoon tuition.
We want to visit Bocsa again in May to make sure the project goes on for the comming years.
Our next aim is a common celebration in Bocsa with our partners.
At the moment we are trying to improve the level of communication.
