Through our project the students, teachers and schools involved in this project will be able to understand the similarities and differences provided by media and the way we perceive them in each country. Bringing together the results from the analyzing phase from three different countries will help us have a clearer view of the way people interact with media. We will build a sustainable partnership that will help students and teachers bring their own points of view and opinions.
During the first phase of the project the students and teachers from three different schools and countries had the chance to meet with each other and learn more about media literacy, how we should become more critical towards media and the key concepts of media literacy.
In the following weeks the students will work in different topics, they will start analyzing different types of media and will present their results and findings.
Special Achievement Award – Justification by the Jury
“This project was notable, amongst other things, because of the great enthusiasm of the participants. The presentation was impressive and testified to the high level of cooperation between the 3 countries that took part. The pinboard attracted a lot of attention too! The project investigated prejudices and stereotypes… and gave us a great rendition of a politician. The 3 schools were able to overcome challenges through last minute changes and have every intention of continuing their cooperation.”
