Project Description:
During the visit to Slovakia, students were working in international teams, focusing on different aspects of diversity: D- diet, I- idols, V- veto!, E- environment, R- religion, S- salary, E- employment. Students then created 3-D mind maps, working with different materials. At the end, they had a presentation in front of 50 high school students and 3 aces representatives. During the first visit, students came up with a series of questions for a questionnaire on youth subcultures and social climate in schools. The most relevant questions were chosen and assembled by the teachers, and both schools carried out a research aimed at finding out information about diversity and tolerance. Students shared their results using Excel spreadsheets, and they were then supposed to compare their own results with the results of the partner school and disseminate their findings.
