Project Description:
With the project "I don't care?! Who cares?" we will explore what young people in Austria and Hungary "care about", what they dream of and in what way they want to care about each other.

Our aims with this project are
- to get to know each other (virtually and in reality in 2 meetings)
- to meet young migrants in Austria and Hungary and find out about their situation and needs and dreams
- to plan, research and work in international working groups (interviews, PR, ....)
- to develop ideas and take concrete action to contribute to the European/global dimension in our schools' realities through focusing on the topic of migration
- to raise awareness for diversity in our societies and schools and to reflect on the impact of it
- to give space for discussion and reflection (among students and teachers) about the issue of unequal opportunities and chances in the lives of (young) people and whether we (should) care about it and how this could be done

The whole issue is relevant for pupils since young asylum seekers and migrants are part of our communities, are maybe even students in our schools. At the same time migration is a very controversially discussed issue all over Europe.
